Why WhatsApp images lead to rejection
Many students take a photo, send it on WhatsApp, then upload that forwarded file. The problem is simple: WhatsApp recompresses images and can strip metadata, which often reduces clarity. When you then try to force a WhatsApp image into 10-20 KB (Army), it can become too blurry for portal checks.
The SarkariPixel workflow: the gold standard path
To keep your Agniveer upload clean and accepted, follow this exact sequence:
- Enhance Lab (clarity first): If your photo is dull or taken in low light, use Enhance Lab to improve contrast and facial clarity.
- Resize Lab (pixel perfection): Portals may check aspect ratio and framing. Use Resize Lab to set the right dimensions without stretching your face.
- Compression Lab (KB target): Use Compression Lab to reach strict KB limits. For Army photos, aim 15 KB so you stay safely inside 10-20 KB.
Our USP: Launch Toolkit (fastest error-free workflow)
Toolkit is built for this exact situation: strict limits + last-date pressure. It helps you open the right steps in the right order so you do not waste time with trial-and-error.
Common rejection reasons (and how to fix them)
Head cut / cap / muffler
Army portals usually require full visibility of forehead and ears. Retake the photo if hair covers ears or the head is cropped.
Blurry signature
Blue ball pen signatures often scan poorly. Use a black gel pen, sign on clean white paper in bright light, then remove gray background using Enhance Lab and compress to the KB range.
Name/date mismatch for slate rule
If Airforce asks for name and date, do not use decorative fonts. Keep the slate text clean and readable, then compress after you confirm clarity at 100% zoom.
Privacy factor: why it matters for Agniveers
Many free resizer sites upload files to servers. For a future soldier, privacy matters. SarkariPixel runs client-side: your photos and documents are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers.
FAQ
Can I use a selfie for Agniveer Recruitment?
No. Selfies are usually discouraged because front-camera distortion can cause rejection during upload or verification. Use a proper photo with correct framing and background.
What if my signature is 11 KB and the limit is 10 KB?
The portal will reject it. Use Compression Lab and target 8 KB to stay safely under the limit.
Is a red background mandatory for the Army?
Only if your specific ZRO/notification mentions it. If not mentioned, white is the safest universal choice.
